Klni, bound from Wellington to Greymoutb, waß picked np about six miles from West* port on Saturday night by the esme company’s s.e. Koonya, and lowed up to the roadstead thie morning, but owing to the fresh in the river was left at anchor there. At the time of the mishap a huge tea wot running, with a hard gale and fnrioui squalls, and the gelling of the lines aboard, and the subsequent towage, were matters of considerable difficulty, hut were accomplished successfully,
