Interviewed at Oyers Bay Sir Joseph Ward referred to New Zealand’s surplus wool and kauri gnm. He stated they would be able to negotiate reciprocity with United States wiibont reference to Great Britain. He would be prepared to take the preliminary steps, and on bis departure leave the matter in the hands of the British Embassy. Leading New York editors lunohed with Sir Joseph Ward at Waldorf Hotel. He dieousßed the question of reciprocity in the natural products of Ameriea and New Zealand with prinoipal citizens.
