„ Invercargill, last night. Edward Ptnn, farmer, of Edendale, Stopping off a moving train at Wairio last uigQl, fell, and the carriage out off his leg below tho knee. Ho died at the Riverton hospital today, John Haywood, rabbitter, einglo, aged .“> who had been on a diinktDg bout, died suddenly at Wyndham last night. Ho returned from Inv>r oargil] on Tuesday, and obiained a farther supply of liquor at a oouniry hotel. Tho medical opinion is that death is due to drink and exposure.
DonediD, last night. George Cook, agod 19, was killed ai Blaokburn Damp, Hill End, near Balolntha, last night by a hut falling on bun.
WOMAN KILLED DURING GALE.

DnnediD, last night. The gale to-day was responsible for a seoond death, Mrs Moss, wife of a nurseryman at Lawrence, being killed, While she was gettiog some firing, one of the pme trees sheltering the nursery snapped off, and falliog on her killed her instantaneously.
