A MOST SUCCESSFUL FUNCTION*
The members of the East Coast Mounted if Rifles are to be congratulated upon the ! -ucecss of their fifth annual ball, which it took place at His. Majesty’s Theatre last J?Ei evening. There was a large and representative attendance,, upwards of a huuilred. . and fifty couples being present,"the arrangements made for the gatheruLf k left nothing to be desired. The floor in perfect order, and the best of mik- .j' was provided by the City Band. Av * excellent supper was provided by Mis." \ A. P. Hailey, who went to great pains to h» insure the success of the evening, and j J his efforts ill this direction met with warm j appreciation.
