Auckland, yesterday. . Tuesday’s N.Z. Herald states: —So far
there is uo news regarding the missing
scow Haeremai, now over 40 days oat Jrom Auckland to Wellington, and her ' non-arrival at her destination is caasing considerable anxiety to those interested in the vessel and her orew. When the scow ■Ngaru reached Wellington from Auckland last week, after a long passage, Captain iFletoher, the master of the vessel, reported >*hat hp had passed, on the night of June gb, a vessel under short sail, whioh he ok to be the Haeremai. It was then '—-apposed that the latter vessel had been oaught in the bad weather prevailing on the ooast at the time, and lost her usual I canvas, and was making port under her Subsequent news, howevor, j fto the effect that the vessel Been was the ketoh Bellflower, whioh was in the vioinity ’ Se place indicated at the lime the | sighted the vessel. im =====
