SCOW HAEREMAI

The scow Hoeromai, which is now ho | days out from Auckland to Wellington, with a cargo of timber, is supposed to be safe. Captain Fletcher, of the eoow Ngaru, whioh arrived at Wellington from Auckland, reports having sighted a ecow in the night, whioh he took to be the Haeremai. The soow was under storm sails at tbo time, and it is surmised that she had lost her usual sails in the heavy weather whioh has prevailed on the ooaet for the past few weeks.
