FATAL ACCIDENT.

FALL FROM TRAIN,

(Per Press Association.) Napier, last night. An acoident which resulted fatally occurred at Hastings this evening. Juat 08 the 5 pm. train for Napier was leaving that plaoe an older'y man named William Tait attempted to get on the train while it wae moving, and somehow got under the 01 jSiages, a portion of the train passing his lower limbs, and orushing both 'V'?e^ s below the knee. He was brought to Napier, and admitted to the hospital, whero he died at about 8.30 p.m.
