CHLOROFORM FATALITY.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, last night. An inquest_wn^ B^ji w inj'ijju yesterday while "under obloroform. Evidence given by Drs Bull, Dudley, and Gordon was to the effect that deoeased became violent under the influence of the chloroform and then ceased breathing. Artificial lespiration was tried without avail. Certain organs of deoeased’s heart were diseased. The jury returned a verdict in accordance with the medioal evidsnoe,’ namely, failure of the heart’s action, the reßuit of ohloroorm properly administered.
