SUPPOSED DROWNING. (Per Psesa Association.) Hokitika, last night. Grave fears are eoiettaiued for the safety of a young mao named William Learmont, who left with pack horses yesterday morning to deliver goods to mtn engaged on the road to Wilberforoe Re fs. His horses and dog where found on the river bed to-day, but no trace of the missing maD. The river being in high flood leaves little doubt of the fate of the young I man.
