TRAINING NOTES.

(Per Press Association.). Hastings, Tuesday. The track work this morning was of an interesting nature, but there was little jumping indulged in. Polycaete beat Hip. porona over aix furlongs. Nova did three* quarter paoe work. Rose Madder, Gaseley, Pushful* and Rajah ran -six furlongs, finishing in that order. Aibuera finished well ahead of Concussion - at the end of five furlongs. Sleep'well jumped eight fences splendidly, finishing well. No Shot did a similar task, oleariDg ihe fences in great style. Blaok Reynard and Handsome Rose were companions over a round of the hurdles ; the latter hesitated a good deal at his fences, but Blaok Rey, nard jumped fast and safe, Kiatere, Nadador, Irish, Submarine, Lurcher, Sir Peroival, Comfort, Shrapnel, Pretty Maid* and Phaetonitis were restricted to slow work.
