(Pei Prom Association.) Nelsoo, last Di'ght. Yesterday’s mail brought advices that at the Colonial Produce Exhibition, St. George’s Hall, Liverpool, S. Kirkpatrick and Co , Ltd., won a gold medal for preserved fruits, jams, etc. The diploma is to hand.
Tirnaru, last night. A gruesome discovery has been made in Temuka, whore a human hand, which is thought to belong to a middle-aged female, has just beon found. There is not the slightest cluo as to identity, but the police are making enquiries.
