SEDDON’S SONS NOT TO CONTEST SEAT.

Wellington, last night. It is now stated, on reliable authority, that neither Captain SeddoD, elde.t son of tbe late Premier, nor Mr T. Y. BeddoD, seoond sod, will contest the seat rendered VBcant by tbe death of tbeir fa'her. Captain Seddon, it is represented, has no deaire to enter political life, and Mr T. Y. Seddon is eaid to be desirous of oontinniDg his law course without interiuption. In this oase Mr Miobaol, Mayor of Hokitika, will uq doubt bo a candidate.
