FRANK BULLEN.
Mr Frank Bullen, tho fascinating writer about “ tho sea, and all that therein is,” arrived by the Tarawera from Auckland yesterday, and makes his first appearance in Gisborne at His Majesty’s Theatre this evening. Those who have enjoyed his writings will no doubt be glad of an opportunity of seeing and hearing the gifted author himself. Judging by his success in Australia, for the whole of the Sydney-Melbourne and Adelaide Press is unanimous in its praise, few modern men of letters aro better equipped to engage the attention. and please the taste of a popular audience than Mr Bullen, for nut only is he an excellent speaker with a fine sense of humour, but he is also credited with a winning personality.
