Campbell-Bannerman, in reply to a letter containing a minute of the yearly meeting of the Sooiety of Friends, expressing an earnest wish for some early and substantial reduction of military and naval expenditure, aod the introduction at the Hague Conference of the limitation of armaments, said he was in cordial and complete sympathy with these objeote, and Government were taking the steps in their power towards realisation of Buoh objects.
