DISABLED BARQUENTINE

The barquentiDe Pi lotas wa3 being: towed out of WhaDgapo at 10 30 on Saiuiday morning, by iho steamer Ohinemuri, and when off tbo DOtth spit sho tock a sheer against her rudder and went aground. Half an hour later the rudder broke, aud tbo vessel, rolling boavily, filed with water, seas breaking right over her. The Obinemuri’s crew got alongside in a beat and took the Pelotas’ orew ashore, it being unsafe for them toiomain aboard. On Sunday morning .tbo Ohinemuri gat a line aboard the Pclotss, end pulled ber cflaftir I towing for three hours. The disabled I vessel was mu ashore on the beaob at I Whangape.
