MILK VENDORS.
UNREGISTERED DAIRIES.
(Per Press Association.) Auckland, Saturday. At the Police Court John Fear pleaded guilty to having sold milk which was not obtained from a registered dairy. _ The Inspeoter of Dairies stated that in the course of his duties ho oal.'ed ou the defendant and was informed that he had been selling milk without having a registered dairy, The defendant said he only sold milk to a neighbor and did not know that ho was committing a breach of the: Aot. Fear was fined £1 and costs. James Aspden, a dairyman who purchased milk from Fear, was charged with having sold milk not obtainable from a registered dairy. He pleaded guilty, but stated that he did not know the milk was obtained from an unregistered dairy. He also was fiaed LI and costs.
Sunuel Hodge, a farmer, pleaded guilty to selliDg milk from an unregistered dairy. Defendant said he had previously hold a Hoods?, but it had expired. Inspec’o Brown informed the magistrate that be had twice warned Hodge that bis. liosnsj had expired, and defendant took no notioe. A fine of L 5 and oosts was imposed,
