A oablo from Now York on May 16th stated Amibal Springfield, Missouri, entered a gaol and secured two negroe*, oharged with attacking a whits girl. They hanged them on the statue of the Goddess of Liberty in the Public Square, and afterwards burned the bodies in tbe presenoe of 3000 people Tbs negroes protested their innooenoe. A third urgro, oharged with murder, was also lynched.”
