Tbe column then entrenched in a mealic garden, Sibindi’s followers being in the centre, Next morniDg 1000 rebels made e sudden and dospeiate attack. They sho continuously at Sibindi’s men, killing three and woundiDg twelve, They were repnlecc after displaying the g'eattst bravery. Som were killed wi;hin a few yards of tbei opponents’ lines.
MORE NATIVES KILLED.
By telegraph, Press Ans’n, Copyrigh Received 9.34 p.m., June 1. Pietermaritzburg, June 1. Troops operating at the scene of Tue 3 day’s light cleared the caves and killed 21 natives. There wero no British casual ties.
Another of Kulas brothers has beei arrested.
