' "TO OTIOE is hereby given that at a BpeJJl| oial Meeting of the G'sborno Borough Counoil, held on the Bth day of May, 1906, the following Resolution was passed : ‘ That for the purpose of providing the interest and oiher charges on a Loan of £B2OO, or ssoh lesEer sum as may be actually required, authorised to be raised by the Oisborne Boiough Counail under the ‘ Looal Bodies Loans Aot, 3901,’ for repaying loan from Bank of New Zealand (Meiers’ Guarantee and Provident Association, the said Gkborne Borough CouloU hereby makes and levies a Special Rate of One Lenny and halfpenny (l£d) in the Pound upoa the rateable value oi all rateable property of the Borough of Gisborne, comprising all that land defined in the New Zealand Gazette of 14th May, 1877, page 526, and that suoh Speoial Rate shall be an annual reourung rate during the ourrenoy of suoh loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 30th June and the 31st December in eaoh and evory year during the currency of suoh loan, being a period of ten years, or until the loan is fully paid elf; ’’ and nolice is also given, that the said Resolution will be submitted to an ordinary meeting of the said Council, to be held attbe Counoil Chambers, Lowe Btreet, Gisborne, on the sth June, 1906, at 7 30 p.m., for confirmation as a Special Order.
