Melbourne, May 29. A deputation to Sir William Lync urged prohibition of the Dans/, rabbit extermination serum in connection with experiments to be carried out in Sydney. They also presented petitions signed by twelve thousand against its importation. It was represented that the rabbit export industry was worth to Australia over a million a year. Sir William Lync stated that it was in the power of the Commonwealth to issue a proclamation interdicting the introduction of the virus. He would make repre- j sontations to the Cabinet. He was personally dead against tho importation of any disease.
