(Por Press Asiociation.) Auckland, last night. In the Supremo Court sentence i were passed as follows : —James Robert Logan, eon , for receiving stolen property, two years; James R. Logan, jun,, breaking and entering and theft, probation for two years.
In the Arbitration Court tbo Now Zealand Manufacturers’ Association aud New Zealand Federated Tailoresses applied for an extension of the arbit<ation award of 1903, binding tbe trade in tbo south, to Auckland The Auckland manufacturers opposed the application. Mr Scott, secretary of tbe Employers’ Association in the south, stated that tbe objeot of tbe application was to do away with tbe divergence between the cost of manufao turing olotbing in Auckland and tho south. If Auckland manufacturers wore allowed to continuo under tbo present log tboy would monopolise the trousers and vest manufacture.
The census of tbe Eden CouDty road districts, exolusivo of Auck'and, Grey Lynn, Parnell, and Newmarket boroughs, but including Onebunga borough, is 22.079, an increase of 8099.

In tho divoroe case, Stevenson v. Stevenson and Rusßell, husband’s petition, the jury found that the accusation of adultery was disproved.
Wairoe, yesterday. In the case of the Inspeotor of Stock v. H. E, Donnelly, for exposing ebeep effected with lioe for Bale at Kiwi yards on February 22, defendant was fined ,£5 and coßts 7b. The Bench mentioned that if the praotioe oontinut d it would keep on raising tho fines until the maximum was reached. In the caso of the samo v. M. Thompson, a similar offence in respoot to 200 sheep, a fine of £2 and oosts 7s wae imposed. Tho same v. T. E. Taylor, exposing lousy ebeep at Morere on February 24tb, defendant was fined £2 and oosts 7s. In the Bame v. L. C. Allison, exposing lousy sheep at Nuhaka on April 28tb, a fine of £2 and costs £1 5) was indicted.
