At the annual meeting of tbe Otago branch of tboNn?y Ltaguo a reso’.u i.n was carried that tbo time has now arrived when the colony’s contribution to tbe Imperial Navy should bo largely in creased, and that a copy of the resolution be sent to tbe Government. Mr James AHot, M.H.R., said he would eupport a proposal to ioorease the colony’s contribution to £IOO,OOO.
