At a special meeting of the Cricket Association to consider tbo executive’s recommendations in reference to plavcrs who signed the agreement with the Melbourne Club, a letter was read from Noole, on beba'f of the players, asking for more time, elating they are unable to come to a decision till a full me.tiog of the players interested is held, and adding that no rSoit will be spared in the meantime to bring about a Bo’ution of the difficulty. The special meeting o£ the Cricket Association decided t) adopt the exeou tive’s recommendation for suspending Noble, Duff, Carter, Maekay, Diamond, Garneey, and O’Connor. Tbe oase of Waddy is held over pending a reply from tha Melbourne Club, whom he asked to release him from the agreement.
