Referring to the position Australia held at Homo, he said Canada was ten times more popular than Australia, so was New Zealand. No one spoke a bad word of New Zealand Everything that came from that colony was [ supposed to be good. Ihe reason that Australia came out in so unfavorable a light was due to the fact that some of their own people were always crying “stinkiDg fish.” Tbe unpopularity was due to want of patriotism on the part of somo Australians.
