TVf OTIOB is hereby given that at a Spedial Meeting of the Gisborne Borough Counoil, held on the Bth dsy of May, 1906, the following Resolution was passed : “ That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of £B2OO, or such lessor sum as may be aotually required, authorised to bo raieod by the Gisborne Borough Counoil under the ‘Local Bodies Loans Aot, 1931,’ for repaying loan from Bank of New Zealand Olhoere’ Guarantee and Provident Association, the eaid Gisborne Borough Counoil hereby makes and levies a Speoial Rate of One Fenny and halfpenny (IJd) in tho Pound upon the rateable va'uo oi all ratotble property of the Borough of Gieborne, comprising all that land d>fined in tho New Zealand Gazette of 14th May, 1877, poge 626, and that such t'peoial liato shall be an annual reour.ing into during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the £o.h June and the 31st December in eaoh and overy year during the currency of bu h loan being a period of ten years, or until ihe loan is fully paid oil; ” and roliee is also given, that the Baid Resolution will bo sutnrtted to an ordinary meeting of ihe said Counn', to be held at the Council Chambers, Lowe street, Gisborne, on the sth June, 1900, at 7 30 p.m., for confirmation as a Sp»oial Order.
