Thei eduoation did not keep them from follow ing useful pursuits. It was muoh easier to carry on farm work with eduoaled Maori youthß than with uneducated ones. He did not think that the property was suitable for dairy farming, but had always expreseed his readiness to retire from occupation if the Trustees thought they could make better use of the estate.
