"VT OTIOE is hereby given that at a Ppe--131 oial Meeting cf the Gisborne Borough Counoil, hold on the Bth day of May, 1906, the following Resolution was passed : "That for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a Loan of £B2OO. or suoh lesser sum as may be aotually required, authorised to be raised by the Gisborne Borough Counoil under the ‘ Looal Bodies Loans Act, 1901,’ for repaying loan from Bank of New Zealand Offioera’ Guar' antee and Provident Association, the said Gisborne Borough Coucoil hereby makes and levies a Special Bate of One Penny and halfpenny (IJd) in the Pound upon the rateable va'ue oi all ratetble property of the Borough of Gisborne, comprising all that land defined in the New Zealand Gazette of 14th May, 1877, pngo 626, and that suoh Ppeoial Bate shall be an annual reeur.ing rate dur' ing the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the SOth June and the 31st Decembor in eaoh and every year dur* ing the currency of surh loan being a period of ten years, or until ihe loan is fully paid off ; " and nolice is also given, that the said Resolution will be submitted to Bn ordinary meeting of Ihe said Coun i\ to be held at the Council Chambers, Lowe street, Gißborne, on the Oth June, 1906, at 7 3D p.m., fj. confirmation as a Speoial Order.
