Auckland, last night, The census rctorus show that in Parnell the population is: Mai s 2598, females 2855 ; total 5253. Ls;t census the total was 4566 tbe increa-o being 687. The number of inhabited dwellings was 1017, and uninhabited 25.

Grey Lynn figures are: Males 2815,

femaii s 3CG7 ; total 5882 F.ve years ago the population was 4110. an increase during that time cf 1772. Tbo number of inhabited dwellings is 1132, and uninhabited 41.

In Newmarket tbe population is: Males 1193, females 1149; total 2342. Last census tbe population was 2060, an inorease of 282. The number of inhabited dwellings is 486, aud of uninhabited 14,
