The officers of the Taviuni, wbioh arrived horn Click Islands to night, report sighting a sea serpent off the Kermaleos bo'h on the outward and inward voyage. Toe serpent was close to the steamer, and is deeoribed as reddish in color, about 60 feet long, with a bead reeombling a gurnet. The serpent remained in close proximity to the st:amer for some time on both occisions. The difference in distance between sighting the serpent on the outward and inward voyage was nbout 60 miles.
