Tho offioial laying returns of tho Now Zealand Utility Poultry Olub’s ogg laying competition at L’nooln Oollego whioh has now olosed givo tbo following totals : —H. Hawko’s silver wyandoitos 1281, J. H. Shaw’s brown leghorns 1002, A. E. M. Evans’ silver wyandot'os 992, J Mann's white wyandottes 984, A. Tyreo’s black 0 pingtons 923, A. M. Prico’s buff o<pingtons 903, A H. Bristod’s buff Orpingtons 900. The total nutnbor of oggs laid during the yoar was 80,183, the moothly totals being as follows :—May 1204, Juno 1483, July2ol6, August 3525, September 4140, October 3347, December 3106, January 2743, Fobruary 2200, March 1644, April 668.
