The Under-S'oretary for tho Quoons land Dopartmont of Agriculture, one oi the delegates to the Gommevco Conference, in a letter to Mr Walsh, Controller of Cus'oms, points out tho hers in rp u'ation in Queensland which compel purity and quality of meat and dairy prcduco in tended for export, and adds: "1 am directed by my Minister to inform yon that Queensland will not brook any inter* ferenoe in a law which has tukon years to if build up and has enab'od Qioomlsud uierohants to secure a good footing on tho European maikot.
