The annua 1 meeting of ibe New Zealand Boxing Association was held to-night. The report stated thut so oog as the law remained in its present shape, it was possible for other bodies to be formed, which could legally defy the authority of tbc preeent governing body, ODd by reckless promotion and other sets briDg tho sport into disrepute, and the local association were urged to assist in obtaining additional legal regulations. The report was adopted. The following cfficers were eleoted ; Patron, Sir Joseph Ward ; president, the Hon. W. F. Wigi am ; secretary and treasurer, W. G Atack.
