Wellington, last night, Ail donbt as to the identity of theoapsized schooner which was sighted near Cape Campbell lest Sunday week, afrd whioh was takea in tow by the tug Dueo and steamer Gertie in turn, has been ' dispelled by the news received fo-day fronq some Paraparaumu fisberrpen, who returned from Kapiti Island, to whioh haven the Gertie towed the doreliot. The fishermen state that the sohooner is the Rooga, and she has been righted and bailed out by the orew of the Gertie. No bodies were found on board, and the vessel’s masts are broken off. Captain Simpson hoped toleave Kapiti for Wellington to-day with the schooner in tow, and should arrive late to-night.
