(Pm Presn 'Association.) Wellington, last night. Mr Spreckels oabled from San Franoisoo to the Premier to-day as follows: —The following ask to be reported as safe : Jamos Cross, Dunedin

Mr and Mrs Dadley and child, Auckland
Mrs M. O’Doherty and family, Auckland
H. Greenway, Taranaki Andrew Salmond, Nelson William Whitelaw Harrison, Nelsou. We have (adds the oable) a large list of applications for relief. Advice was also received by the Premier to-day from Mr Smith, New Zealand agent at San Franoisoo, to the following efftet :—“ No deaths of New Zea'anders are known. The British Consul’s oable of April 28th covers tho situation. Addresses given dow a--e useless. I)r S:enson, a Canadian, was killed. The Sau Franoisoo people are doing splendid woik. Send all subscriptions to them, not to the authorities. It will take weeks to trace the list. Will report later.”
