(Pm Pres* Awoclatlon.) Chrietohurch, last night. At the icqneßt held this afternoon touching the death of Mibs Mary MeKearney, who died in the hospital this morning from shock due to buros, evi« dence was given that deceased’s clothes f o ' bad oo the previous evening caught fire while she was alone in her room. When the dootor arrived he found her flesh obarred, and Bhe was suffering badly from burns. She was in a state of collapse when taken to the hospital, and died there at about 4 o’clock this morning. A verdict was returned that death was due to shock and burns accidenla'ly reeeived.
