Blenheim, last night. Tbe New Zealand egg laying competition concluded the year’s list lo night with the grand aggregate of 86 339 The ten prizes were won as follows : Leger (white Leghorns), 1373; Brooks (do), 1211 ; A. and P. Association (!o), 1190 ; Miss Shaw (do), 1183 ; Hodson (do), 1174 ; Ashforth (silver Wyandottes), 1163 ; Murphy (black OrpiDgtons), 1143 ; Hockey (do), 1140 ; Priddle (white Leghorn*), und Miss Edwards (do), a tie, 1132. Tbe total for nine days was 416. The highest for the nine days were: Murphy 225, WorthiDgton 26, Misa Edwards 18. Cbristcburob, last night.

The New Zoa’and Utility Poultry Club’s egg-laying competition at Lincoln College concluded on Sunday, the results for the year being as follows : —H Hawke (silver Wyandottes), 1280 ; J. H. Shaw (brown Leghorns), 1002 ; R. E. M. Evans (silver Wyandottes), 990 ; J. Mann (while Wyaudottes), 993 ; A. Tyree (black Orpiogioos), 928 ; A. M. Price (buff Orpingtons). 903 ; A. H. Bristed (buff Orpingtons), 900 The other pens raogad down to 557, which was the lowest. The seoond oompetitioD, which comprises 100 pens, will start tomorrow. Eighty-five lots of birds were penned to day, and the remainder will be penned to-morrow. The new competitors inolude a number of important birds whioh are expected to give gool layiog returns.
