(From Our Own Correspondent.) April 19. An event of much more than' ordinary interest took place ,on Saturday evening last, when. Mr Howard Cole brought anew settler in the form,of a life’s partner. Mr and Mrs Cole arrived from town about 5 p.m. and when near home were greeted with a hearly reception in the shape of "unlimited quantities of rice and: old' boots, and if the energy with which they were assailed be an indication of future happiness, then the nowly-mar ried pair have a bright look-out ~i n front of them.
