GLADSOME'S VICTORY.

The races to-day resulted Hurdles—Ryde 1, L.cblan 2, Booby 3. Tiiere were 12 starters. The betting was £to 4 OlyDthuF, 6 to 1 Ryde. Won easily by eight lengths. Time, 5.59 j. All-Aged Stakes —Gladsome 1, Lady Wallace 2, Marvel Looh 3. The betting was: North Head 7 to 1, Gladsome and Lady Wallace sto 2. Gladsome was the first to move. Lady Wailaoe shot out opposite the Leger and looked a winner, but Gladsome, with a grtat effort, caught her at the distance, winning by half a length, Marvel Loch four lengths _away. Time, 1.4 L.
Coogie Handioap—Luciana 1, Graoetown 2, Birdia3. Thoro were 19 starters. Won by six lengths. Time, 1.55 J. Reoeived 7.44 p m., April 18
Easter Stakes—Coilarit 1, Autoaious 2, Caßtaway 3. Betting: Evans Coilarit, 5 to 1 Antanious. The favorite lid all the way, ani won by six lengths. Tim?, 1 29. Cumberland Stakes—Tartan 1, Proceedor 2, Cakewalk 3. These were the only starters. The betting was 7 lo 4on Tartan, 7 to I Proceedor, 20 to 1 Cakewalk. Proceedor went to the front followed fay Tartan. In the straight Tartan headed Proceedor and won by half a length. Time, 3.46 J, City Handicap—Prooeedor 1, Maniapoto 2, Zenda 3. Betting : 2to 1 Noreen, sto I Proceedor and Lord Fi-zroy, 6 to 1 Zenda and Maniapoto. The latter led along the back of the oourse, but Prooeedor got on terms at the d stance and won by a length. Time, 2,35.
