SERIOUS ACCIDENT.
YOUNG MAN’S LEG CRUSHED
A young man named Thomson, lately from Australia, was brought in to the hospital last night, suffering from a crushed leg through a tree falling on him while he was engaged bushfalling for Mr Hansen. The leg was so badly crushed that amputation was necessary, and the operation was performed' by Dr. Scott in the absence of Di\ Morrison. The patient is doing as well as can be expected.
