Three matobes in the first round of the Junior Ohampion Singles were disposed of, the resalts being— Sawyer 22 Maokrell 14

Nasmith jumped off with the lead, and maintained hiß advantage throughout, being 9 to 3 on the 5.h bead, 12 to 8 on the 10th, 19 to 11 on the 15th. This was a splendid game, both bowlers drawing well. Naßmitb seoured the lead, and maintained it, being 8 to 4 on the sth bead, 14 to 7 on the 10th, 16 to 12 on the 15h, and winning by 5 points. The following was the draw in tho first round;
