Tho Scinde footballers arrived from Napier last evening, and play their annual matoh against City this afternoon at the Viotoria Domain. The match between these elnbs has always been of a olose and exciting nature, Bnd spectators at the match this afternoon should be repaid by witnessing a very good game. The visitors will be entertained at a smoke ootoert this evening in Whinray’s Hall, and return to Napior by the s.s. Talbne to-morrow.
WEST END MEETING. 'At the annual mooting of the West End Football Club, Mr D. Cowan, hob. Beoretary P B. Rugby Union, presided. The balance sheet showed a deficit, on account of the nonpayment of members’ snbsorip tions.
