WORKERS’ DEMANDS.

The Workers’ Union again sought a conference with the pastoralists to oonaider their demand?, inolnding an increase of 20 to 25 per centum. The pastoralists refused to confer on the ground that they had no power to vary agreements already in existenoe with organisations of employees.
