'LIVING LONDON.”
_ Modern science has revolutionised picture entertainments until they liave attained such a degree of perfection that the dim flickering lantern exhibition has given way to a distinct, steady, picture, such as that which Messrs Tait operate their famous living picture, “ Living London,” opening at His Majesty’s Theatre on Monday evening next. The machine used is gaid to absolutely do away with that objectionable flicker so trying to the eyes, llealism is the keynote of this novel entertainment, and apart from the usual beauty spots and well known places of interest, “Living London” depicts the general social and commercial conditions of the mighty city with life-like effect. As an educational factor “Living London ” opens up very great possibilities for the enlightenment of not merely the younger generation, but of every person who has not had the opportunity of visiting the great city. Mr Sydn.ey Monk, a tenor of quality, will render highrdass ballads. The box plan and all priced tickets are at W. Miller’s.
