PREMIERS ARRIVE AT AN ARRANGEMENT.

The estimated cost is two and a quarter' millions, but it will only be proceeded with as it becomes apparent that irrigatiaa requirements are interfering with navigation, fn order to give South Australia g-enter facilities for navigation, Lake Victoria will be weired, -and the water thus impounded will make the Murray navigable for three months longer than at present. The three Slates sharo in the expense equally. The Premiers m:tt on Monday to ratify the arrangement.
