FIRE ON MIMIRO.
OUTBREAK PROMPTLY EXTINGUISHED.
(Per Pres* Association.) Wellington, last night. This afternoon a fire Wis discovered in the hold of the Tysor steamer Mirniro, now loadiog homeward cargo at the wharves. The outbreak was pcomptly extinguished by the crew. The fire originated in some homp which bad been shipped at Auckland, About eight bales were charred and twenty-eight bales damaged by water.
