She finished well, greatly pleasing tbe watchers, Volodia, with a very light weight, ran seven furlongs in 1.32 J, tiring badly, Maitian oovered If miles at three-quarter speed, being anxious to increase bis pace. Stepdanoer, assisted by The Mohioan over the last half, galloped a mile in 1.48 2-5. She appeared fully extended, and tbe display was disappointing. Makaroff galloped seven furlongs on the plough in 1.33, r finishing really well, and appearod oapabie . of improving tbe time considerably. Petrovna bad Highlaod Fliog well beaten over five furlongs.
