The statement for the 49tb' week of the New Zealand Uutility Poultry Club’s egg-laying competition at Lincoln College I shows that 22? eggs were laid during the wefjr, making tho total to date qf 29,782. The best totals for the week wrrs: H. Hawke’s silver wyandottes 24, H. L°ger’s white wyandottes 16, G. R Hutchinson's silver wyandottes 15. The highest totals to date are: H. Hawke’s silver wyandottes 1230, J. H. Shaw's brown leghorns 1002, J. Mann’s white wyandottes 974.
