A boat raoe took place on the Parra matia river for JQ IOO aside between J. Mitchell and J. Searle, Clarence river eoullers, tho latter being a younger brother of the one-timo ohampion, Harry Searle. The raoo resulted in a win for Mitchell, who led all tho way, and finished a longth to tho good. Tho time wub 22.41.
