MANAWATU RACES.

The Manawatu Raoing Club’s Autumn Meeting was continued to-day in unfavorable weather. The attendance was again small. The sum of D 9336 was passed through the totalisator, making DL8.618 for the meeting, a decrease of £1899 on last year’e record. The following were the results :
Borough Handicap—Sir Tristram 1, Gawain 2, Flotilla 3. Also started : Kiog Biily, S ronghold, Chryaeis, aod Red Cross. Won by a leogth, Time 130 2-5, divs. D 3 end £1 ss.
Hsek Flying—Armamento 1, Truce 2, Olementine 3. Also sta'tsd : Lady Wayward, Windy, Wailotbe, Mortiwai, Pro bsbility, Wangaehu, Gauze, Mis 3 Lancelot, aad Mecca. Won fairly easy from start to fioish. Time 1.17 1-5, diva, £5 6s and £4 7s, Autumn Handicap. Melodeon ... \ Bonheur ... f Kosoal ... ... ... 3 Also start td : Lyrist, FlameD, and Mussell. A great race, won ia the last few strides. Time 212 1-5, divs, £2 5s and £5 Bs. Tiritea Hack Hurd’es Hydrant 1, Flanagan 2, Durban 3. Also started : Aoadeja. Won by two lengths. Time 255 1-5, divs. £2 16s. Fi’zherbett Hurdles—S'. Lyra 1, Defoe 2, Kohunui 3. A'so started : Daikey. Won by a length. Time 3.25, div. £2 9s. Maiden Hack Sourry—Rosewood 1, The Dane 2, Pupu 3. Also started : Pomegranate, Golden Days, and Maidi. Won easily. Time 1.5 35, divs. £4 15s and 10s.
Juvenile Handicap Tangimoana 1, G'enowlet 2, English Channel 3. Also started : Contender, El'erton, Kurawake, Waipuniku, Ito, William, Frisco, and Lomaria. A groat race, won in the last few strides. Time 14. Div. £l4 3s.
Farewell Handioap—Barca 1, Pretty Maid 2, Operetta 3. Also slatted : Whakawehi and Chryseis. A good race, won by length aud a half. Time 1.46, div. £7 9s.
A DISQUALIFICATION. (For Press Association.) Auckland, last night. ■ The disqualification of J. Soaates, by the Avondale Couqmiltap, for his riding of Landloek in the Avondale Handioap, has been reported to the Auokland Btoing Club, and a special meeting of the committee will be held on Thursday next to consider the matter.
