Tho subject was a difficult ono, involving a large expense, but as tbo Federal Government passed a Blaok Labor Bill they, and not Queensland, would bavo to meet tho difficulty and expenso. The question of wbito labor for tho sugar industry wus only ono of wages. Whites would do the wotk if the wages were good enough.
